Course Duration 1 Day (6 hours) Course overview The HSE Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed to train individuals and company staff that requires hse approved first aid at work training to meet requirements of the first aid at work regulations.This course will provide all the required first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally,is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services Who should attend? This Course is designed for people who want to recieve training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working enviroments Course contents A low stress easy learning classroom enviroment Many confidence building opportunities Multiple Hands on practice sessions Comprehensive printed students materials Insructor guide and lesson plans Professional instructor training courses Student Materials Include: Essentail skills guide Successful completion card Emergency plan & guidance card Wall certificate & Course Evaluation & Statement of undwerstanding form Hands On Skill Practice Students will practice the essential skills i small groups and will apply these skills in scenario sessions during the course Assessment information Students are assessed throughout the course by instructor observation of the essential skills. Annual refresher training is strongly recommended
